Tom johnson

As a successful builder for the past 15 years, owner Tom Johnson knows what it takes to create incredible homes. Tom is deeply involved in each project, ensuring that strict standards and budgets are meticulously adhered to. Our client’s project success is our ultimate priority.

Our Unique Build Process

We understand that for most clients building a custom home or large renovation is an intimidating project to undertake. Honouring that trust means that we guide our clients through the process from start to finish with honesty and integrity.

Consultation

Our build process starts with a personalized consultation. Clients have the chance to discuss their vision of their dream home, and to ask questions and learn about how the build process with Stonewood works.

Design & plans

We work with several of the top architectural firms in Oakville, or if you are working with your own architect we are happy to work with them too. We stay involved in the early design and planning stages to help guide you through that process. There may be questions that come up, and it is our goal to take away any stress or concerns you might have and make the build process an enjoyable, fun experience.

Budget & Review

Once we have the construction plans, Stonewood uses management software to build a detailed schedule, budget, and design inspirations. With the software we will be able to fine tune the plan before the project even begins. This also helps us keep the project on track and keep our clients updated through the build.

Build & Deliver

We love what we do! Once all the planning is complete and final permits are in hand, we break ground. We have a dedicated team of experienced tradesmen and employees to streamline the construction and deliver on timelines and budget. It is our goal to make the construction process an exciting, fun experience for our clients.

Tom Johnson at Stonewood Homes is truly a one of a kind professional builder!! We hired Tom to complete a full main floor reno including the staircase, 2nd floor reno plus 2 bathrooms. Our home was gutted inside and rebuilt. Tom and his team were AWESOME!!
